RRTC (Regional Resource and Training Centre)

CSSC has been recognised and approved as a RRTC (Regional Resource and Training Centre) for Old Age Care Division by Minis-try of Social Justice & Empowerment(MoSJ&E). In F.Y. 2017-18, following programmes were organized by CSSC in collaboration with Minis-try of Social Justice & Empowerment (MoSJ&E) and National Institute of Social Defence(NISD)

1. One Day Awareness Programme for Police Functionaries on Issues of Senior Citizens
​

On 14th February,2018, one day awareness programme on senior citizen’s issues was organized by CSSC for police functionaries. The participants were one Senior Police Officer with Two Police Ammaldars from each police station and other participants were president and committee members of Senior Citizen Welfare Association and Office Bearers of Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVK), Navi Mumbai Branch. Total 100 participants had attended the programme.

2.One Day Workshop and an Awareness Campaign on “Abandoned Indian Women Married To NRI Husbands and a Way Out” On 28 th February 2018
​

One Day Workshop was held on the Topic of “Abandoned Indian Women Married To NRI Husbands and a Way Out” and an Awareness Campaign launched by Ministry of External Affairs on the topic of “How to address issues related to Marriages of Indian Nationals to Overseas Indians”. Participants were from various background like Lawyers, Police Authorities, Law Professors, Social Workers etc. 180 participants had attended the programme.

3.“One Day Sensitization Programme on Inter – generational bonding in Schools/ Colleges” was Organized By Centre for the Study of Social Change and National Institute of Social Defence(NISD),New Delhi ,Government of India
​
